The Bristol Medico Historical Society

The British Society for the History of Medicine is having its Bienniel meeting in Bristol September 2019.  They are inviting submission of papers by 31 May.   See www.bshm.org.uk  for details.
The Bristol Medico-Historical Society meets generally on the second Monday in March, May, October and December. It meets at the Create Centre in Cumberland Basin.  It is open to anyone interested in Medical History.
A two course dinner is available for those who have booked at 7.00 for 7.15.  The talks normally start at 8.15.  
We welcome all interested public and potential new members - anyone who wishes to come must email the secretary at Drpetercarpenter@hotmail.com or Med Chi Admin.

Bristol Medico Historical Society.

This organisation, set up in 1986 by Prof John Clamp and Mr Michael Wilson, is dedicated to the research and discussion of all aspects of medical history. The society has a particular interest with history related to Bristol and the West of England.
